General Questions

What is MFI?

MFI (Mobile Film Installations) is a professional marketplace connecting clients who need installation work — vehicle wraps, tinting, PPF, signage, wall graphics, commercial branding, and more — with verified, independent installers across North America.

Who can use MFI?

MFI is designed for:
  • Print shops
  • Wrap shops & tint shops
  • Marketing agencies
  • Car dealerships
  • Event organizers
  • Designers needing installers
  • Independent installers and installation companies
  • Businesses needing on-site installation work
If you need something installed — MFI connects you with the right talent.

How does MFI work?

Clients post a job (vehicle, building, event, etc.).

Verified installers submit bids or quotes.

Clients hire the best match based on experience, price, and ratings.

Funds are held in secure escrow until the work is approved.

Installers get paid immediately once the client approves the job.

What services are available on MFI?

Vehicle wraps (commercial, color change, partial wraps)
  • Window tinting
  • Paint protection film (PPF)
  • Wall murals & decals
  • Large-format print installations
  • Signage installation
  • Boat & aviation graphics
  • Event graphics
  • Vinyl removal
  • Detailing services (as part of prep)
  • And more

Is MFI available internationally?

MFI currently operates across North America, with expansion planned for other regions.

Does MFI verify installers?

Yes. Installers undergo strict verification which may include:
  • ID verification
  • Portfolio review
  • Installer skill validation
  • Insurance verification (if required)
  • Background reputation checks
  • Only approved professionals can accept jobs.

How are payments handled?

All payments are processed through MFI’s secure escrow system.
Clients fund the job, installers complete the job, and payment is released once approved.

Is MFI responsible for the quality of work?

MFI provides the platform and escrow but does not perform or manage installations.
All work is directly between the client and installer.

What happens if there is a dispute?

We offer a structured dispute process with evidence submission, review, and resolution guidelines.
Escrow prevents premature release of funds.
